These Volunteer Terms describe what you can expect from us and what we ask of you when you volunteer with the Tinne Holly Larenas Foundation Inc.® Please read them before creating a profile or signing up for an opportunity.
Eligibility
Volunteers must provide accurate information and meet any age, availability, or skill requirements listed for a given role. Some opportunities may require additional screening.
What we ask of you
- Show up for the commitments you accept, and give reasonable notice if you can’t.
- Treat fellow volunteers, staff, and community members with respect and care.
- Follow the guidance of coordinators and any site-specific safety instructions.
- Represent the foundation honestly and in line with our Code of Conduct.
What you can expect from us
- Clear information about each opportunity before you commit.
- A welcoming, inclusive, and safe environment.
- Support from coordinators throughout your volunteer experience.
Volunteer status
Volunteering is unpaid and does not create an employment relationship. Participation is voluntary and may be ended by either you or the foundation at any time.
Liability
We take reasonable steps to keep volunteers safe. Volunteers participate at their own risk and agree to follow all safety guidance provided for each activity.
